Hi all,
I want to order a 350 Lariat Tremor, but at this point in the year am not sure if I should just wait to order a 2023 model.
Any advice on pros and cons of a 2023 ?

No details on what MY23 will bring or when the order bank will open. MY22 order bank closed 2 months ago so good thing you're not in a hurry.

As correctly mentioned, you are not ordering a 2022 anymore and nobody knows what 2023 holds or when they will start allowing people to order. Your only choices for a new Ford SD are to wait and see what they release for '23 or find a '22 on a lot somewhere if you get really lucky.
As mentioned, ordering a 2022 isn’t an option anymore so you would have to luck up and find one on a lot, and 23’s haven’t been announced, or when the order banks will open. There are speculations, but they’re just that… no one really knows.
For now though, I would spend time on the build and price site and start figuring out what you do want, however keep in mind that these options will still be the 22MY options and they may not be available, or just different for the 23’s. But at least you can start getting some things somewhat figured out. I would also spend time researching… good things and bad things about 20+ model years, and what has been improved and what hasn’t. Also, watch the current market… gas vs diesel (and I’m talking about availability and pricing of the fuels themselves, not performance) and any other associated liquids that the truck requires. It’s a crazy world out there, and the only for sure thing is it’s getting crazier. Also, it’s worth noting that even when the 22 order banks opened, the Ford Build and Price site didn’t update to 22MY for sometime either, so folks were having to use the 21MY and finalizing the information with the dealer.
But, it’s a good thing you aren’t in a hurry! Good luck!

Only 2022 you would get is possibly a dealer stock truck or a cancelation....and a dealer stock at this point will be a long wait if at least Ford is focusing on fulfilling Customer orders first....As for 2023 no word of any real change...Order bank is to open supposedly in October this year with production starting in January...2023 will be a short model year for Superduty January to July....then back on track for 2024 which means you should be able to order 2024 around June..July...but who knows with so many shortages and unknowns...Ford just might decide not to built anything beyond a Lariat given all the options there dropping...
There is a TV game show called "Let's Make a Deal" - people from the audience are randomly chosen and play for chances to win some pretty nice small prizes. Then once they have a known quantity, say a nice digital camera, they are offered a chance to trade that for what's behind "Door Number 3" .... Which might be a Toyota Corolla, or it might be a goat.
I ordered my 2022 because I liked it. And I was afraid 2023 might bring changes I didn't like.

Hold what you got.
Same boat...I know what I'm getting with the 2022 as far as exterior and interior and I ordered 2022 because I was afraid of a big change in 2023...other than possible cancelation of some options...I've already lost the color I ordered...losing anything more not sure what I would do unless things get revealed on 2023 models and options before mine comes in....
If one can actually order a SC truck with LED and the Lariat ultimate package id be trading my undelivered 2022 in on one. With the caveat that the body does not look like a Chevy product.

Yeah. That would scare me to death if someone at Ford thought the Chevy front looked good. Only a true Chevy fan could like the front end. Hideous. I'll wait on my 2022 because I know what it is, vs 2023.
