Does anyone know if the next superduty change is supposed to happen in the 23 model year or the fiscal year 23? Trying to decide if I should cancel my 22 order that has been sitting since may 6 still unscheduled.
I would keep your order who knowns how long it will be until you get a truck if you wait for a my23 to start getting scheduled and built . But I did hear /read my 23 is supposed to be a redesign.
23 should be a complete redesign(all new panels same cab) it will get the F150 interior most likely a straight up copy(I’m not a fan of the new F150 interior), it should get the blue cruise option(I was excited for this till I found out it’s ANOTHER subscription service), hopefully they don’t make it look cheap like they did the 150, I’d take a 2019 F150 front end over a 2020 all day long! Only thing the 23 is getting that I’m jealous of is the full digital cluster, beyond that my 22 meets all my expectations!

the digital cluster on The f150 is really nice widg the 22 superduty had it but ohh well
At this point even if it was scheduled today there’s no way I would get it before the end of the year for a write off. So I started thinking I really like the new f150 interior and if the my23 superduty was getting that I my as well wait. But if it’s the fiscal year 23 then I would just keep my order. Can’t remember where I read it but it sure seemed pretty official that a change was happening for my23.

i would expect them to reveal in March roughly and start building in July or august of 22
If you were to wait for the 2023MY I would anticipate production to start around Nov 2022. With order banks opening prior to that. It's possible that they could start production a couple months earlier than that. If I remember correctly '22MY production was originally planned to start July 2021.
With the difficulty in getting current parts, I wouldn't be too hopeful for a redesign in 23.
you could be right about that but I think it will still be a 23 model year.

I think original start date was sometime in June and it got pushed to July

I believe you are correct. Also, my guess of a Nov. '22 start up for '23MY would be pretty late. With the exception of 2020MY, June,July, Aug. production start seems more typical.
If one of those is what's delaying your order, perhaps cancel that to move things along. If it's your dealer that's dragging their feet, try another dealer. My guess it will be 9-12 months before you see a 2023.
