My camera display hasn't malfunctioned since I last posted on May 31st. The last I did was make sure the gray connector above the parking brake lever was seated. I never did disconnect the camera plug near the spare tire. So keeping fingers crossed.
I finally got to the Lincoln yesterday. Took all the connections loose for the camera, no issues and the camera screen was all screwed up.
I then went online and found an update for the sync system (2015 MKC) and spent a good hour doing updates.
All works good now, but for how long?
I want to test the battery today and see where it stands, original battery and since the whole car runs off of steady current I am wondering if that is an issue.

So you're saying the video connection runs through that connector by the parking brake then?
