Cluster lights half out
Used to have an E350 motorhome and used FTE posts to diagnose and replace an MLPS issue...and also do the sweep oil pressure mod (solder the resistor, replace oil pressure switch with a pre-87 oil pressure sender).
now have an E150 van (yes, I know this is the '87-96 subforum) and replaced the cluster since the original had a bad PSOM.
To my question:
Half the cluster lights are out (left side). The left turn signal indicator is also out, but the turn signals on the body themselves are working.
Does the left side of the cluster have its own ground? Should I be looking for a bad connection on the plug on that side...or look for a burned trace?

Changed the entire 1995 (build date Dec 1994) cluster for a Sept 1994 cluster.
Turns out the original van's 1995 cluster was actually a 1993 cluster (1994 date on the PSOM, but the cluster is definitely pinned like a 1993 cluster...the LG/R and R/LG charge light wires were on 11/12 of the gray C251 connector in the van, where the new cluster was expecting them on 1/14 of the black C250 connector. So got no charge.
I replaced the Alt (probably needed it anyway) with a new 130A one, and did end up having 4 dead bulbs.
Repinned the connectors and got the batt to charge again.
Will likely change the wiring back to original and put the new PSOM in the old cluster. *phew*! Appreciate the original response @kevinv10 , figured I'd follow up to show how I fixed the mess I created in case it helps someone else!

The copper contact tabs that keep tension on the bulb holders need a little cleaning with either a rubber eraser or super fine sandpaper.
Sometimes poor contact with the printed circuit shows up in a "dim" new bulb or dead.
