After doing a few searches and studying the print for my instrument lights , I feel my problem of the right side(charging ,oil, fuel ) bulbs not working may be a printed board problem .The defrost heater controls etc ,all, work and the dimmer does its job. I took the bulbs out and changed them to led and all worked ok(quick before reinstallation test) . I fiddled with the switch and they came back on , but when I took the truck for a drive no right side instr, cluster lights. The diagram shows only one wire feeding the #19 lLb/R//#57grnd so perhaps its a coincidence when playing with my switch they came back on. Left side instrument cluster lights (SPEEDOMETER?ODOMETER)work great as do all other lights on this circuit .This truck is near 36 years old and its a PITA taking out this cluster because of the added aftermarket oil pressure. volt and coolant temperature being mounted on the first step below .
I plan on taking it apart(UGGGGG) again and perhaps sodering wires as jumpers to fix this problem.
All input appreciated TR
Thanks for that info , I will try to repair first, but nice to know they sell them .Was wondering if any one had a schematic of that printed circuit board .If not I can trace it out ,making one .Years back I had connection problems and added solder to the board where the connector meets the circuit board .
