noise??
I just got a 79 f150 with a 351 for 800 bucks and there is this noise that sounds like it is comming from the front end but I am not sure it sounds alot like tire droan ( the sound you get with real big tires) but the tires that are on it are just normal tires. the sound is noticable at speeds above 25mph if anybody has any ideas what it is and a possible solution it would be great.

does it only make the sound when you are giving it gas? mine had a similar noise shortly after i got it turned out it was the third member, it was shot and had to be replaced, it really only made the noise when giving it gas, if this is the case the longer you drive it like this the more it will tear up, it cost me about 600.00 to fix mine i hope this is not your problem
