Intermittent power issues

To follow up, I'm purdy sure the new IPR has solved the knocking issue. The original unit I pulled out would not rattle when shook, and I checked the magnet which was around 12.3+- ohms. This is the reason I made the decision to get another new one. I went through 2 new IPR units...long story...and one was at 11.1 ohms while the other that I installed was around 10.7 ohms. The engine idles smoother and is a little quieter than it was...minus the knock. Plenty of power now unlike before...I think it was slowly getting gunked up over the last bit though I'm adamant about 5k mile oil changes. I will continue to monitor the fuel mileage as it was getting 20-21 mpg on the highway that dropped off to 16 mpg highway for the past several months, and report back...
