Washer Fluid Pump Running Continous

Went into the garage this morning and the washer fluid pump was running continuously on my 2004 Excursion with 6.0. Pulled out the manual and there is not a single relay or fused labeled for the washer fluid pump. I managed to pull the plug off the pump, but I assume there is something commanding the pump to run. All of this was happening with the key off. I have done a ton of searching without finding any answers. So that is why I am here. Thanks.

if its key off, youve got a shorted wire somewhere. time to start tracing wires

Anyone have wiring diagram for the washer fluid pump so I know where to start checking?

Try fuse 106 this is for the pump (this will also disable the wipers)... If this works to shut off pump then that is actually fuse 54.. Not sure why they call it 106. But in the pdf attached page 190 will start your search.. This is for 2002 so not 100% sure if that translate to 2004.. Pulling fuse 106 will tell you. My guess is the multi function switch..

Thanks for the diagram. I tried pulling 106 when this first started and that did not stop the pump.

Perfect. I will see if I can find some time in the near future to disconnect the multifunction switch and see if the pump quits and move on from there if it doesn't.

So over the weekend I had time to unplug the multi-function switch and plug the washer pump back in. The pump still turned on the instant I connected the battery. Some side notes are that a couple months ago the cruise quit working and I pulled the brake pedal switch and installed a new motorcraft one but it still does not work. I ran FORScan Lite app tests. I did get a Circuit Low on all injector but #3, P0703, and P1536. I just do not have the desire at the moment to try and troubleshoot electrical issues. It starts and runs fine other than no cruise and no washer fluid.
