I’m trying to route wires while my cab is stripped. I have a small amp that I need to locate in the cab. Is there room under the back bench seat or will it not fit when the bench is folded down?
It will not fit under the seat. However, there is likely room on either side of the seat tucked away in the corner of the cab, or under the front seat there is plenty of space for an amp.

sorry, I should have noted that my front row isn’t stock. No room under the seats unless I use the underwear storage under the center seat. But I’ve been debating about mounting a low profile 8” sub in there and porting it.
92-97 have space under the rear bench, 91-87 do not. I had an amplifier laying between the rear bench and paneling in my '88, it worked but looked crappy.
You cannot have anything under the seat with it folded down, I forgot my spare IDM was under the seat in the '96 last time I folded it down.
I have 2 amps mounted to the hard plate on the underside of the seat. Ones been mounted there for 20+ years and works just fine. The wiring is routed to allow the seat to be flipped either way.
I now leave it face up along with the other amp and in the middle is where my sub sits.

Does it cause a problem when the seat is flipped and the amp is on the topside? How did you keep it from getting damaged?
That’s an impressive amp. One of the better things I’ve seen someone discover in a used truck.
My truck surprised me everytime I went to do a project there for the first few years. Good and bad. The amp was a nice surprise. Still works like a champ too.
