MAP Sensor Issues - Replaced and still wrong readings
So I was checking over my 2001 F-350 7.3 before a long road trip pulling a camper and found that the MAP readings were out of range (too low). I replaced the MAP sensor with an oem part and hose feeding it and the readings are the exact same.
I do have a tuner on the truck and I was going to take the tune off and recheck, but haven’t yet.
Any other thoughts on what’s causing the issue?
Seems to run fine most of the time, but pulling the camper up a grade and trying to accelerate does occasionally lead to a sound similar to a miss.
Just got home and took the tune off of it, and now it’s showing what I think would be right - 101 kpa which converts to 14.7 psi at idle and goes to about 113 kpa or 16.3 psi when I rev it in the driveway.
tuner is a Diablo sports predator if that helps at all.
