Someone on here recently showed some pics of their truck after cleaning the external of their truck after they "washed" it in CLR to clean their rust stains and it made a BIG difference. Can anyone remember who?
Any advice on how exactly to go about this process? I'm gonna do it on the interior of my project truck before I do anything else.

Joe Harrier did it to his 55 F250. he will probably show before and after pics for you.
Yep, that was me. Here is my thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...g-results.html
And some pictures if you don't want to click on that thread. I was shocked at how quickly it worked. CLR in water and a green scotchbrite pad.
I read an article about it a couple years ago. I did an old door and was surprised at how well it tuned out. I posted about it (in my 53 Panel build thread) and Joe did his whole truck. I didn't do anything special just sprayed it on, scrubbed it with a green 3M pad and rinsed it well after it cleaned the metal. As far as I know there are no adverse or unexpected results.
I have used Never Dull. Comes in a round chrome/silver looking can. Looks like a roll of padding or insulation but is impregnated with some cleaning/waxing solution that cleans rust off glass, chrome, blued guns, painted wheels, etc. and leaves a haze that you buff/rub off with a clean dry cloth. I've used it on a bunch of blued pistol magazines after stripping the oil off them first. After that I just wipe them off to remove the lint/sweat/rain water, etc. Not sure who long the protection lasts.
Works great for me and leaves some wax/polish behind to help shine stuff up and protect it.
I have used the CLR on my bumper (chrome) and it cleaned it up well. I have also used never dull. We had to use it in the Navy to shine our brass belt buckles.
And, I've only used it on painted wheels. I can't recall every using it on the paint on the body before. Don't know if there's much difference between wheel paint and auto body paint but it cleans up dirty/stained wheels pretty well and leaves them much brighter.
