Muffler length is 28 inches and offset inlet offset outlet. Pipe diameter is 3in. I'm having trouble finding one and I want to try and do it myself rather than bringing it to a shop especially since a lot of shops wont do it here in california.
I put a Flow catback kit on my 4.9 recently, I like it. Fit and fitment was good to me, I axed that turn down and cut if off square. Installed a modest tailpipe tip.
There is no prefab part for that, two 45* angles will do that with a piece of straight pipe.
Which then begs the question as to why buy a kit when you just want to lop the muffler off?
sorry i misunderstood the question, the flowmaster kit was already on the truck when i bought it. I want a straightpipe with the cat still on, it sounds rly good with the 460, not too loud. A friend of mine has that setup with a single side dump

Went with two 45 degree elbows and a straight pipe and clamps from Summit, all in $100. Pretty good. And I can rent a pipe cutter at my local oreilly. I don't have a welder or experience with welding yet so im going with an interlocking clamping setup.
My last exhaust, I used these clamps "Walker 36435 3" aluminized narrow band exhaust clamp", with narrow slots cut in the edge of the slip fits.
A simple, single band saw but hand should do it, and don't over do it, just 1/2-3/4" and not too much the clamp will not cover it.
Flowmaster slip fit, well the latest ones anyways, have a 'zigzag' cut at the edges to make clamping easier. Imagine clamping where the 'zigzag' is, will tighten up very nicely.
