I've been a user of AVS Aeroskin since they came out. The 2 sided tape works great. In fact I let the deflectors go with the trucks at trade time since it's probably likely to break the deflector trying to remove it.
I got mine from the Ford Parts website. It was about $90, and had it painted.
That's nice look also. Wish I'd of thought of something like this before I installed.
I love my Super Duty, but have never been a fan of the logos on the hood or tailgate on any truck. The Blue oval is a nice touch, but I plan to paint them body color with black outline and letters. I am also planning to paint the side fender logos to body color.
Ordered the Hood deflector from a Ford dealership and it was delivered in just over a week. High quality gloss black. I plan to sand it to prep for paint and paint it body color Anti Matter blue.
I've looked at the hood and found that the deflector bolts to the same location as the gasket. Is the gasket removed or re-installed?

gasket can be just moved out of way for the screw holes needed.
Anyone have install instructions on the factory one with recessed lettering? I installed mine this past week but I have no clue where the rubber stick on bumpers are supposed to go.

On others I've had in the past the rubber bumpers would go on the actual hood of the truck to prevent the deflector from contacting the hood directly.

That makes sense, I also wonder if the two taller ones are for the outside edges and the smaller ones for the middle? And what is the weather stripping for? A QR code for install instructions would be so simple for them to include......

I didn't use the weather stripping. Couldn't figure out where it went. If I still have the instructions I'll scan them.
