hood scoop

ive been trying to talk terry into letting me make a new 57-58 hood with the ribbed section raised into a scoop tell me what everyone thinks. would people buy these?

I would have to see it, But I do like the look of the big-job truck scoop on these hoods.

are you talking 53-56 or the later more square one?

yes on the f100 is exactly what i had in mind, but slightly taller and center support thinner, but that is really cool thanks

I have one of these Big Job Hood Scoops.
I plan on attaching it as soon as practicable.
I also have a B.J. 3 Hole Front Valance that I like to use as well.

I prefer the more subtle look for a ½ ton. Perhaps raising the whole ribbed section about
¾-1" with some type of screen behind the openings. That would make a good alternative even for those wanting a more stock look that can't find a OEM hood. Great idea!

thinking a total of about 1.5 inches depending on how it looks. im almost done with fender molds n hope he lets me make custom hood
