First attempt at gaining a little knowledge here !!
This morning I noticed upon starting (2020 7.3 CCLB) the brake light was on - no park brake set - and the wipers wouldn't work. After driving about a quarter mile, the brake light went off and wipers engaged and worked. Got to work, waited 15 minutes, repeated the process and VOILA !! Same issue.
Damaged Fuse ? Relay ? Am doing a little reading once i get the time today, but i figured the smartest Super Duty guys are all right here !!
Do you have anything plugged in to the OBDII port? If I leave my Sprint WiFi module plugged in too long, it messes with the trucks computers and I get all sorts of false alarms. If I unplug it once every couple months or so for just a couple hours of driving, I don't get any false alarms.
Nothing plugged in. I recall reading somehwere that in older Super Dutys there was a problem similar to this... Work has me SWAMPED today, trying to find the time to do a little research..
Did anyone else ever have this happen? My 18 started doing the same damn thing today.
I would guess your multifunction switch is bad. It's the whole wiper turn signal arm on your column. Pretty cheap part, I would start there and report back.
Me again... Still having issues. Took it to the dealer, damn brake light went off the minute I drove onto their lot. Had it a few days,
couldn't find anything wrong. Turned out of their lot onto the highway, brake light came back on, no wipers. I also noticed that
when the brake light is on and the wipers are not working, my A/C blower panel lights all work but the blower itself is not working.
About ready to trade the damn thing in... Anybody else seen this issue?

I had issues with the "clock spring" inside the steering column causing buttons on the wheel to malfunction. Replaced and re-programmed. No issues since.
These trucks do not like weak batteries. Have yours load tested. If you have 2 batteries, disconnect them and test individually. You favorite auto parts store should be able to do that, no need to wait on the dealer.
