Reading codes on my 2006 F350
My F350 is completely stock with 200K miles. Until this issue, it ran like new. Recently, it started to misbehave. Loss of power. I can no longer hear the Turbo spool up at start. Noticed dash turbo gauge seems to follow RPM or if coasting, the gauge just goes to zero. Replaced the ERG valve with a recent oil change because I happened to have a new one that needed a job. The one I pulled out looked OK, but I didn't analyze it closely. Replacing it didn't affect the ODB code. Here's the list of codes that appeared after loss of power: P0404, P0472, P2262, P0069. Cleared the codes and they all re-appeared. The truck has new CAC tubes; replaced recently with an oil change. Batteries are good and my reader reports 13 volts. Also, a number of years ago, the truck got a new turbo under warranty. The service writer told me Ford was having trouble with turbos in the 2006's and its a good thing I got mine replaced. I haven't had a single problem since until now. If the turbo has died, would I still get all the sensor codes like this? How do I isolate the various symptoms/devices? I'm just a back-yard mechanic and this has me stumped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I did a visual on the solenoid and it looks fine. So does the electrical connector. Resistance across the pins is about 3.8 ohms (drifts around between 3.7 and 4.0). More when I can get a reader on it (tomorrow). Also, if there's some sort of test I can do by removing the solenoid, let me know. Thanks again for your help.

Help. I ended up with Car Scanner Pro and have searched all throughout the App and can't find any reference to VGT readings so am stalled out. I've also done an internet search and again, nothing. Also, the truck has started blowing white smoke. Can someone tell me how to retrieve the VGT readings that Visurveyor is asking for? Thanks!

I prefer Forscan on a windows laptop, connected to the truck with an OBDLINK EX available here; this gives you the most capability for the least money (if you have a windows laptop). My second choice is Forscan lite or Torque Pro on your phone with a wireless OBD adapter. Good Luck, Russ
