So a new development to my last thread and I might be beating a dead horse and need a rebuild, but I want to try everything I can before the final verdict. So this last week I decided to try something and I put my original Ford range sensor back on the transmission. Well I took it for a short drive last night and it actually seemed better but not totally right. It started out the same as before shaking and shuddering from a stop in first but then I felt it grab good hit the throttle and it pulled like it use to, into 2nd, little shake enough to feel then pulling good, 3rd, even smaller shake and then O/D like nothing was wrong. made it a little ways down the road then it went into limp mode and started the limp mode funny shift. Turned it around shut it off started back up and headed back towards my house and it started shaking and shuddering bad again , went into limp mode again, tried KOER test and got 74 and 65 which i understand is not having the brake pushed and the O/D off pushed. So after all that, i'm kinda starting to think it might be something electrical??? Any thoughts??

No misfire that I can tell, and it only seems to "neutral out" in first now when reved. I tried pulling codes and there are none except 29 in KOEO. Tried pulling codes while the O/D light is blinking but by the time get into the house get the tester and come out it stops blinking. If I manually shift to first I can feel the transmission grab good, little soft, but grabs while sitting. But in drive it wont grab till I give it some throttle then it shakes a little almost like slowly releasing a clutch. Tried checking fluid to and the best I can get is dots on my white towel. Fluid maybe low??? Solenoid pack maybe??? I did buy a cheaper one right after I put the transmission in.

Is the fluid low? Check the fluid with the trans warmed up, in park, and the engine idling.
It doesn't seem to be, its just the dipstick is hard read being that white plastic and it seems to only have a thin film of fluid on it. i started useing white towel but the other day when I checked it, the towel had spots on it. Wasnt sure if it could be low and just splashing the stick or its coming off some when I pull it out of the tube. I put the 16 quarts in it calls for 2 of which went into the TC when I put it on. I just wasnt sure if there was a "right or wrong" way to read this type of dipstick since it seems hard to.
