seems like this could at least partially explain some of the harsh shifting threads on here and explain to some extent why some trucks shift smooth and others are more harsh

I have almost 32K on mine and not a hiccup. But, now that I know there is a chance something could fail I want it made right. I've pulled my 10k camper all over the place and haven't had any issues. Maybe I got lucky, but it isn't worth the risk of skipping the recall.
