was playing around with my new 2011 f150 fx4 and somehow set up a mykey, now i cant get rid of it. at least i didnt set a speed or sound limit, but how do i go back? everything ive googled has said to go to settings, click on mykey. its not there, i have mykey under information, but i cant do anything with it.maybe it isnt even an issue, just wanted to fix my mistake. my truck came with only 1 key, which has remote start, if that matters. thanx.

You're going to have to get another key and erase/reprogram the keys already programmed into the system then you can disable mykey. The erase/reprogram can be done with FORscan otherwise you'll have to find a shop that has IDS or take it to the dealer.
thanks for the replies. im researching this forscan thing now, but the thought of bricking my truck before the first payment is scary. i mean, i got into this mess unintentionally, just imagine the damage i could do with a scanner. no matter what, i need to get at least another key so i dont do this again. thanks again.

I'm a noob as well. With forscan be sure to save your factory settings for all of your modules. Label them accordingly with a note at the end stating stock or something. Forscan is awesome just research it, there are tons of videos. One big thing for sure is make sure you have a battery charger hooked up to truck and your laptop is plugged in. Powerless during programming is bad juju.
