LOW ACCELERATION
LOW ACCELERATION
HELP!
I have a 2014 F150 5.0L V8 and have been struggling with a slow acceleration problem. To give you an accurate idea what its doing...I hit the accelerator and the RPMs come up and and its very loud from the exhaust and then it is loud until I ease the throttle some then it smooths out and picks up. Now it just recently started a somewhat rough idle. I am getting the 1500 rpm at cold start and 500 rpm after warm up. The only code I get is a periodic P0430 which everything I read takes me to a CAT but I was told from a repair facility that it was newer and did not need it. I bought one anyways but have not installed it yet. But here is what I have done so far and it has not corrected the problem.
*Replaced all 8 coil packs
*Replaced all 8 plugs
*Replaced MAF sensor
*Replaced drivers side upstream O2 sensor
*Replaced purge valve
*Pulled off throttle body and cleaned/reinstalled
*Replaced PCV valve
*Did reset with battery cable
*Performed throttle valve recalibration
Running out of options at this point. The auto place that I took it to said all of the fuel trims are ok. Not sure what they read. Just trying to get this truck dialed in with a good idle and pick up when I want it to.
