Newbie,

Hi from Texas.
I joined the other day but I posted on the wrong forum so I'll give it another shot here.
I have been on other forums like this but with a different brand.
I'll be picking up my new toy, a 49 f1 in orig cond. Has an earlier resto so not in bad shape at all. Picts to follow as well as a million questions.
Looking foward to picking your collective brains as there are some things I know I will want to get done on this toy asap, like converting to 12 volt and tightening up the steering.
Thanks for listening.
Tom

Welcome, Tom. Driving these beauties to better understand them before any conversion projects is highly recommended.

I do plan on posting pics as soon as I get this home. Can't wait to get out and start playing with it. I'm near Kerrville in Rocksprings.
