Thats the main reason I went bap over Lariat sport. Smoked lights. Lower $ didn't hurt. Well and my wife didn't like the L/S wheels. (I did. Would love a pair for my winter wheels)
I always find it odd that the sport package wouldnt have the grill and side emblems match the body paint...seeing a white, silver or red truck with the side emblems in black just looks odd to me...just as my truck is black as everything else is, I wonder if i should not of done the sport pack and just got a white truck
I think chrome or body color is preferable to me especially with silver. The black side emblems look terrible to me and black makes them illegible. I would definitely go with a color matched sport grille over the black. Just not a fan of the whole black out thing myself.
I’ve seen many comments regarding the black appearance package and how you lose design detail of the affected part. I think this is true in pictures and when you look at the vehicle from a distance, but not so much when you’re up close. With that said, I was thinking about replacing the black grill with a sport grill in the same color. What do you guys think?

it was a choice of a kr or the lariat with the bap. kr had halogens and looked crappy next to the lariat imo...if the kr had been rapid red well we may be talking about another truck
i chose the bap for the LED headlights the platinum next to it at the lot was black and it looked AFU for some reason.
they should allow power running board with bap as well. the running boards imo are ugly, but again my last 3 vehicles had power deploy and hide running boards
