Thanks. Assume Alumazilla tracker is the Ford tracking site. All mine says is a dot in the shipped circle. Is there a site with more info.

Alumizilla is (or was) a tracker created by a user here. Not sure if it still works as it's been a couple years since it mattered to me. The link is in the first post of the order tracking threads.

Also factor in the weather. Some folks have experienced devastating tragedies. Pray for you truck as well as all the other folks involved.

I see a lot posts here talking about the rail system, but not much about the convoy system. Does anyone have any insight as to where these vehicles are loaded onto the carrier trucks, if they are a direct route to a specific dealership or region, how accurate the estimated shipping time is that Ford give you in your "built" email, how soon are they loaded and shipped out from the time they are released to be shipped?
My truck was released to shipping on 3/24, shipping convoy, approx. 5.5 hours by car from KTP. Email from Ford estimates delivered to dealership 3/31-4/6. Just curious how much I can rely on that info.

You cannot rely on it at all. According to Ford, my truck was shipped 3/3 with an estimated arrival at dealer 3/17-3/23. As of yesterday, 3/30, the railroad shows the rail car still in Louisville, KY. No idea whom to believe. This is not the dealer's fault; They are also in the dark and would love to deliver the truck and take the money.

Safe to assume your window sticker says its being shipped via rail, correct?
Mine says convoy.
I understand all the trucks waiting for shipment are probably sitting in a giant lot in KY. Someone has to determine and direct rather on not each truck goes on a train, and I'm GUESSING there are car hauler semi trucks standing by waiting for the trucks to be loaded onto for shorter distances.
Just looking to see to anyone can confirm my theory of convoy shipping and possibly be able to confirm with their experience if the timeline given by Ford has any accuracy to it.

Thanks 'Bud F350' for starting this thread. However, it made me sick to my stomach (knowing my truck arrived at the Markham railyard south of Chicago on 3/21 and then) realizing your truck has been in a railyard for basically 1.5 months!! That's crazy!

'Unaware me' pulled the trigger on ordering aftermarket items for installation at local shops once I got the email from Ford with estimated delivery dates in a few days (i.e. delivery of 3/16-3/22).

As 'dyhrdford' mentioned, lots of talk on the forums about tracking delivery for the railway, but not much regarding the railway to local transport times, process, or reason for delays. Does anyone know why the trucks are sitting in "railyard jails"?
