Frames
I have a 99 F350 single cab long bed I know a 5.4 frame will work and a 1999-2004 Superduty frame will work but will a 05-07 frame work as well? 99-04 frames come to find out are pretty hard to find, I’m a 16 year old so any extra information would be greatly appreciated

In ‘05 the pickups switched over to coil spring front suspension on the 4X4s vs the front leaves on the earlier 4X4 trucks, so if just swapping frames you would also need a front axle setup for the coils and that axle would be about 3.75” wider than the earlier ones so you would also want the matching ‘05+ rear axle so you could run matching wheels all around. I’m pretty sure that other than those changes and some different geometry up around the front frame horns at the bumper area that the frames are fairly similar.
