Dash lights not working

Dash lights not working
Yesterday I installed a boss double din in my 2005 f150. The radio works fine, but the dash board illumination lights don’t work as well as the shift indicator light. Fuse isn’t blown, brake lights work. the dimmer switch appears to not work as nothing will dim now. The double din came with an orange white and orange black, both had to do with illumination and I did wire them together with the 1 to the factory harness, I also didn’t run a line to the brake wire because I didn’t see it a reason because I don’t cameras. Any ideas?
