Came across a good idea today. Cleaning out the garage for retirement. The 60 truck hinges are getting hard to find and are worth big money on ebay. Whats harder to come by money or parts. Found some 63 truck hinges. Put them in the junk pile. Then it dawned on me that they look about same as the 60. The 63 had threaded holes in the door hinge arm and the 60 was drilled out smooth and the plate behind the door was threaded. Everything measured roughly the same. So I made a template. What do i have to loose. Nothing. Marked them out and drilled them. Put it on the truck and worked out just fine. So the 63 hinge is a hair longer and can be trimmed 3/16s of a inch if you want it perfect. Maybe this can help some one else out if they want to spend the time and make them work. Growing up if grandpa didnt have the stuff in the yard you made the parts or bought them when you saved some money. For What its worth. Thank you deuce.
