Looking really good. I went through a similar spark issue recently. Turns out it was probably just a fault in the signal wire to the coil, but I put a new distributor in it anyway. Runs better than ever. Driving it daily again now that it’s cooling down.

Since I added a belly pan I have no overheating issues whatsoever. I have a manual switch activated electric fan only, and it never turn it on unless stopped in traffic. I live in Florida, but don’t drive it much in the summer.
I have the same gas fill problem you have also. I dropped the tank once and looking at the design I think it’s just the nature of the beast. With no nozzle hole and splash preventer in the fill neck like modern cars, I don’t think there is an easy cure.

I'm not using the stock tank, I installed a 19 gallon behind the right rocker panel and put a fill and vent up high on the bed side panel. So I created the issue I'm having, just have top redesign my filler.
