Ford losing/cancelling orders

They lost your order.
Others are still waiting for orders they placed in spring of last year.
Then there’s those that get scheduled for production a month after placing their order.
Today is six weeks since I place my order. Called Ford customer care as I do every two weeks, my order is still confirmed awaiting a VIN and getting schedule for production.
I actually hope I do get a 2023 instead. I currently have a truck to trade in and the trade in values don’t seem to be going down. So if I get a 2023 at the agreed upon 2022 price, it’s all good!
After the last two years anything can happen. I’ve learned to lower my expectations.

Ford apparently has the order, but can't tell whether it's the 12/7/21 or 3/10/22 version. Friday evening I received the email that hundreds or thousands of others received, "There's a problem with your order...". Debating on whether to cancel and dump Ford. They are completely screwed up.

Thanks for the update. Hoping things work out, but also understand your frustration. I ordered on 9/13/21. Scheduled on 2/1/22 for the week of 3/14...then 3/28...then 4/4...then 4/11...the 4/18...now 4/25!
Today, the Ford tracker told me that it couldn't find my order...I thought of your situation and quietly freaked out internally that my order somehow got lost or canceled. However, it just appears to have been a glitch with the tracker as it shows my order correctly now. Best of luck to you.

One of the real frustrations is that the only 'delay' item I have, supposedly, is the 5th wheel prep, but I see many people posting that they ordered after I did, with 5th wheel prep, and already have their trucks scheduled and in a few cases, delivered.
