I did ask the dealer, they said orders are pulled on Thursdays and to be patient. From what I read here, most receive an acknowledgment shortly after placing the order. I’ll check again tomorrow.

he doesn’t have your email entered in the system correctly. What priority code did he give you?
You need to have your dealer sort this out. What you should get that day or the next day is a notification that the order has been received by Ford. It will include the dealer order code for your vehicle and your priority. That part of the process certainly does not take three weeks. It seems you do have the order acceptance if you have your order priority since that's where that occurs. Now, getting a VIN and all that, you are in the Thunderdome for when that happens. The order might not have been accepted by Ford if your dealer doesn't have any ordering allocation. That's just a possibility.

The orders may be pulled on Thursday, but order acceptance is done as soon as the order is placed by the dealer, and an email is instantly generated by Ford for you.
Ether the email was not entered correctly, as others have said, or the dealer is sitting on your order.
This is all on your dealer, bug them until they get it done or get your deposit back and go to another dealer.
These dealers are really going to have to start getting their houses in order soon, Ford is pushing for retail special ordering as the new way.
My salesman just told me I had to remove the weather guard toolbox and add FX4 to get them to accept my order. F350 Black Appearance Package, 7.3/4.30.

Mine is scheduled (9/27) with a toolbox. I opted for the less expensive (when I ordered) "defender series" which is listed as matte black on my order confirmation. I see black or silver now are both $950 on the build site, I think mine was $575.

I optioned the more expensive one. I was told it was black.
Maybe it was polished and a no go and I guess they force the FX4 sticker on the black appearance package.

I am kinda on the fence about it all.
I know for sure that now they list a black and polished version, same price. It wasn't until I received my VIN and was able to read through the "track my order" information they provide that I noticed it was listed as matte black. That is what I would prefer but that was also the first time I was informed what color the box might be, it wasn't listed that way on my order confirmation print out.
FX4 is pretty harmless but no fun having to pay for an option you don't really want...
I am hoping the build mine as ordered. I haven't heard otherwise.... yet.

I got the confirmation email the next day from Ford saying that my order was received by Ford but it doesn’t include the dealer number or priority code.
