Reading over the International manual, it looks like they specify 95ft-lb for the bearing cap bolts (oil coated if re-using). Thing is a class 10.9 fastener for that size is notated in the manual as 79ft-lb (+/- 10%). Has me wondering if the bearing cap bolts and connecting rod bolts are reusable? If they are tightened that much have they permanently stretched?

I wouldn't reuse any engine internal bolts.

I figured it was cause he torques everything to yield

That’s what happens when you use Dugga Duggas instead of Ugga Duggas.

Replace everything with ARP and build for 1000 HP.

Rod bolt kit is on indefinite backorder, and the stock bolts are discontinued so I might have to re-use the rod bolts. @Bitterroot Diesel Don't suppose you have any floating around your shop?
