Need help with brakes. Quick

I know this is the Inline 6 forum, but there really isn't a defined forum on brakes that I saw.

I have a 92 F-150. Today the drivers rear brake siezed up. I have it apart right now, and replaced the shoes and have a new drum to put on. The passanger side went on really easy, but the drivers side is giving me problems. The drum itself will slide on without much problem, but the axle won't turn once the drum is on. Without the drum on, the axle turns fine. I even tried putting the tire on to turn the axle. The thing is tight, won't turn. The drum comes off and on with a couple light taps of with the hammer, but it goes on by hand. Everything looks fine.

What is binding?

Any suggestions would help me greatly.

Is your parking brake fully released? Also check the cables for binding.

Or the shoes on that side could be adjusted too tight. Back it off by turning the star wheel at the bottom.
