Steering stabilizer

Anyone out there install a stabilizer from the aftermarket on a stock height 450 crew cab? Not looking for anything crazy just a little upgrade from the stock one. Found a rancho but no luck with fox or bilstein. Thanks guys!!

you should be able to find a replacement for the OE. ( I did bilstein ) You may consider a PMF bracket and add dual stabilizers.

I believe the f350 and 450 share the same part number. Found the bilstein for 350. Oem part numbers are the same from what I can tell.

Many places are out of stock on the Bilstein. This place has stock and it was to my house in 2 days.

Beware many online places say they are in stock and after you order them you find out they are on back order. When I ordered mine, they were on back order with every company I could find. I think it was almost 60 days before I got my OE replacement. I did get the dual kit sooner.I like the PMF bracket and got the shocks from the same place. Takes about an hour to install and eventually I replaced the OE single with a bilstein...totally not necessary but I did it for the looks and since I waited so long for it

Get the part number and use it to search, including amazon and ebay

steering stabilizer or steering damper.

I installed a fox steering damper in the stock position. I could not find one of the adjustable ones....but I had a new pre-2016 one in a box. I had to install a shock clevis (1 bolt) and a new double threaded shock bolt as well as some SS angle shims. looks pretty and it works.

for steering stabilizer...there are bracket kits for single or dual that attached to the front drive shaft cover on 4X4.

not rocket science.

I had ordered mine on 03/01/2022. It stated "ready to ship". I assumed that meant it was sitting in their warehouse ready to be put in a box and shipped.

I received an email on 03/03/2022 that it had shipped from Northeast of Denver Colorado. It presently is sitting in Spokane Wa and is scheduled to be delivered Monday 03/07/2022 between 12 and 2pm.

Seems like a reasonable time from order to receive. I was originally upset when I saw information about manufacturers having problems with shipping on account of Covid issues. I couldn't understand that IF you have an item "ready to ship" what's so hard to put it in a box and call UPS to pick up. Sounds like they do NOT have items in stock, but they drop ship from the manufacturer.

Their site now states "Ships directly from manufacturer - Timing based on manufacturers ability".
