Well I am slowly tracking down little annoyances on my Excursion and I have narrowed it down to the Steering Stabilizer. After 13 years, northern winters and 287,000 miles I am going to be replacing it this weekend. I don't do much off roading and the truck is all stock and will stay that way, Would going with a rancho make much difference over a new MC unit?
I am very pleased with the Rancho unit I installed on my 00 F250 4X4. It bolted to the factory mounting system. I do have one size larger tires......the rest is stock.
my stock one leaked right out of my warranty, i replaced it with the Rancho one. bolted right in with no modification needed. I replaced it because i felt the need to add a dual setup for some reason, besides the look of the dual there is ZERO difference over the single Rancho i had.
^ I have to disagree with that. I went from a single rancho in the factory bracket to a dual setup with generic shocks from Top gun customz. HUGE difference in steering, especially on the highway. 0 wander, nice tight steering feeling, and no more bump steer. I also had 35" tires. Putting the same one on this truck as soon as i lift it
