Stock location is a much better place for a stabilizer, dials are for people that want others to see they have stabilizers. Get a good replacement like the Fox 2.0 or ATS and you'll be golden.
Where did you find it? I got a part #983-02-143 off the Fox web site, but can't find anyone that carries it. What am I missing?
I think I got lucky. Got it from Stage 3 for black Friday at a great deal and it was drop shipped from Fox. Seems like they make them to order and are not mass produced. I think when I ordered Fox luckily had 1 made.
I have a question maybe someone knows the answer to. How vehicle model specific are these stabilizer shocks? Like are they valved specifically for the vehicle that they say they fit? I guess what i am asking is.....if i found a aftermarket stabilizer shock for a lght truck application, and the compressed and extended dimensions were the same as the oem unit, could i use that stabilizer? I have a 2 wd and i really want to try an aftermarket stabilizer to see if it settles down my steering wheel chatter. Only problem is no one sells one for the 2wd application.
A good parts shop like NAPA can cross reference what’s available for your truck. Try and find a Bilstein or Fox, or even the higher end series Rancho steering stabilizer. Just be sure to ensure full extended and contracted are the same or better on your replacement and you’ll be fine. You might evolved be able to search on line l8ke Rock Auto or Amazon and find what you want.

Yup, found it at Stage 3, 0 available. "out of stock". Can't add to cart.

Yeah man I've looked all over the place including parts houses, and no one shows anything available for 17+ 2wd. Im going to pull my oem off this weekend and measure it and then see what i can find. I just didnt know if they are valved for a specific model. I didnt figure they really put that much effort into it. Im just looking for something that is a little stiffer than oem. Thank you for the input.
