Whatever came with the kit, but it's not a shorty. it's sufficient to freeze you out using R134a.

Some Sanden's are imported. I've been running the Chinese ones on equipment for years and so far no problems. I figure if it goes bad a Sanden is a direct replacement so I'm not worried about it.

From: Punta Gorda FL.
I just installed the stage three kit. My 78 F250 with a 400 had AC installed when the truck had 6000 miles on it back in 78. I bought the stage three kit thinking that what I had was a factory installed AC system But in fact it was an aftermarket system. For me, the only parts a didn't or couldn't use from the kit was the evaporator and the short hard lines up by the condenser and dryer mount. My style AC system is behind the dash not below the dash and there is nothing in the engine compartment.
The stage 1 2 and 3 kits are well-made and work well. I would strongly suggest taking pictures of everything as it is currently installed because the only negative thing about those kits is that the instructions are extremely lacking. Fortunately, there's really only one way the AC system should be plumbed and the rest is up to you where are you want things. On my 400, I thought I was going to need the idler but as it turned out I routed the belts in such a way that I only need two belts with no idler. If you need a new idler and bracket or the correct evaporator that goes in the engine compartment feel free to reach out to me because I'm certainly not going to use them. The evaporator is still sealed in its vacuum packaging.

Mine is a factory AC truck,,, it all worked with 134 but the york leaks,

My concern is all the CCs offered by sanden and no one specs the actual model they sell.

Check out this link, https://www.sanden.com/originals/obj...tical_Tips.pdf ( I can not attach the PDF) It is from sanden and starting at ~page 7 it has models and charts with performance curves. In my suburban,, I used the SD7H15. The motor lives under 3000 and cruises ~2000.

May i ask,, did the bracket come from Original Air? They are telling me 4-6 weeks for any part i order,, I see the same bracket for sale at Summit, amazon etc but the do not show the 2nd small bracket that is supporting the tensioner pulley.
