Dropped the tank today in hopes of finding an obvious answer to my intermittent hard starts....for another thread. It was obvious that a PO had done this before but only to remove the notorious filters, everything else was still stock, including the broken foot. So I did do the Hutch & Harpoon mods.
My question is regarding the tank vent lines to the far left and right on top of the tank. Currently they are capped. Should they be?
Those look like the factory vents mine had but if they are indeed caps, then like Sous said, no bueno.
Indeed Udsuth78! That is what they are. I should have examined more closely before posting. I removed and blew through them, then removed the end cap to clean just a bit of debris out. Thanks again gents !
