My engine made 240hp 330ft-lbs Gross on an engine dyno (NO accessory belt)
I cut .019 off the block to get .000 piston to deck hight for the perfect .040 squish (can RUN ALOT more timing without ping)
.030 over pistons.
9:1 compression
stock valves
I cleaned up the Exhaust ports and polished them
Gasket matched my Offy-C to my head
Compcams 260H (212*@ .050 and .447 lift)
Edlebrock 500cfm 4bbl
Hooker supercomp split headers with true dual 2" exhaust with dynomax superturbos.
I was very happy when I seen the dyno numbers, I was hoping for only 200hp and 300tq when I went for the dyno pull. The torque came onto the graph at 315ft-lbs @ 2000rpm and climbed to 330ft-lbs @ 2500rpm and held flat to 3500rpm where it started to drop off fast. Peak HP was at 4200rpm.
