I've lost a nut...
Can't tell you exactly how painful that is. 
3.8 pump pickup to main stud hold down. Does anybody know whatenhell it is??? (99 Mustang 3.8)
It's for certain 1.25 metric pitch, BUT M10 is too big & M8 too small
A 3/8 fine is close in size physically.
Pulling hair out & have near destroyed shop in fruitless search. Going cross-eyed measuring/cleaning trying things & can't find a dimension on line.

MAN... I HATE metric stuff on AMERICAN vehicles.....
I wish I could help but I am totally metric stupid.
(It pi$$e$ me off just trying to find a dad gum wrench to fit those STUPID nuts)...
THEN, they went and mixed up both US and metric on some vehicles.....

Metric doesn't bother me so much... just consistency.
Made a JY yard run today hoping I'd see a 3.8 laying next to a Mustang.
Not so much, however. Windstar with the 3.8 hanging half way out of bottom of engine compartment couple inches off ground.
Bing-bang-boom & a little excavation, pan off. *%$#@*+! had windage tray... ALL retaining nuts including P/U support, M8.
