Welcome to the board! Yea, you found the right place. Lots of good info around here for both stock trucks and heavily modified (and we all seem to get along)
I cant wait to follow along with your progress
Welcome to the party! Looks like you got a good head start on putting it back together. You need extensive modifications to make the proportions aesthetically pleasing.

You're in the right place, for sure! Very cool project! More details, please, chassis, drivetrain? Welcome to the forum!
Thanks Merc,
It's on the original chassis but have put a later Ford Iveco axle on the back with a triangulated 4 link with D2600 bags and the front has a custom double wishbone set up with D2600's, running the Iveco spindles to give me discs and twin pot callipers ,
Drivetrain wise its got a 1990 Bentley Turbo R 6.75L V8 with a Th400 behind it,

Very cool truck you have there Mark , I know what you mean about the proportions it took me a while to work out the bed size to build and I want to fit my hill climb car in there so had to move things around,
When it first arrived with 7.5 tonne axles on it the new rear Iveco dually axle found this under the bench seat , looks like its from Quincy Washington state , removing the old axles
I worked out all the geometry on CAD first Here's the front and rear all modelled up mocking up the outer 4 link mount rear axle bag mounts being made back 4 link all mocked up to check diff angle and stuff starting to put together the front upper arms
TiG'in the front wishbone adjusters TiG'in up the front arms checking front arms for fitment, adjustment etc , inner wing need some work as its been hacked up before , welding the rear back mounts on
here's the exhaust I'm building for the truck, only one muffler, biggest i could fit under the step, bit as its a turbo motor should be ok , also I have a remote bypass valve to go on the 3 bolt flange before the muffler , but not sure how much difference this will make really, will have to see after I finish the new loom install
these are what the tips will be , once its all in and i can get the orientation right to weld them on, . one for exhaust and one for waste gate
This is too cool! We were practically neighbors. It seems Bob Hayes from Wenatchee had some work done by Whitener Bros. in nearby Quincy. It's only a couple hours away from me.
