Not "highboy" not "lowboy" Both of those were 4WD plus it's a 460 (J). That was never available with 4WD. According to the VIN (F25) It's a 3/4 ton 2WD.
If it was a 1977 4WD, to be a "highboy" the S/N would have to be before X80,001. After that S/N they were nicknamed "lowboys".
Camper Special can't be decoded by VIN alone.
So your truck was manufactured on 04/77 which is April of 1977
F25-truck series- 2 wheel drive pickup (F250)
J- engine code- 73-79 8 cyl 460 4 bbl 7.5 liter
L- assembly plant- Michigan Truck
Y60273- consecutive unit # / Numerical Sequence Of Assembly
Can you post a pic of the Warranty plate on the dvrs door edge? So according to the Safety Certification sticker VIN of F25JLY60273 you do not have a Highboy or Lowboy since it is 2wd.
Highly unlikely that it is a camper special, I am fairly certain that they had a higher GVWR.
The SuperCab and Camper Specials did have higher than the more standard 6800 GVWR ratings, sometimes much higher. My SuperCab is rated at 7500 and I'm pretty sure the Camper Specials were higher than that.
