Anyone used ColorBond for interior panels? I have the red interior and I did a test piece on an old armrest I had, and it doesnt match at all. Got the ColorBond from LMC and supposedly the correct "Dark Red" color. But its almost like a dark pink, if anything.
VHT vinyl dye works fantastic. As long as you read the directions and follow them. If you spray light as possible between coats. As in, barely covering the surface between coats and follow drying time accurately. Any dash or interior panels will look new.
Nothing but SEM products for the inside
I dont really have a good picture of the inside but I painted everything with SEM so it would match.
Before the carpet was put down
I have new arm rests and slider locks but looking the replace the door panels as I did a quick fix and paint so they did not look so bad.
I also have to fix the A pillar trim parts and paint them.

Dave, this looks to be the same color interior as my 86. What color code did you use for SEM products?
VHT. Sprayed four years ago and still looks the same as the day I sprayed it. The key is spraying it on light as possible between 3 coats and waiting exactly 10 minutes between each coat. You want it to barely spit onto the surface. Otherwise it won’t adhere properly and will not be as durable as it should. It even works on interior metal. Evidence is my blue on the door interior. Key is extremely clean surface, spraying light as possible, patience and following the directions accurately. Dash pad, glove box and horn pad look brand new.
