XLT vs Lariat Chart??

I've debating between the two, and trying to find a way to dump the features into a spreadsheet to be able to analyze them a little better. I know I could type it up, cut it would be nice if there was an easy way to do that.
Has anyone seen anything??

Have you tried the Ford website for building your own truck? I ordered a F350 Super Duty 4x4 XLT dually and added things I wanted and eliminated things I didn't want. Mine is a 2019 and I got it for $63k.

I did this when I ordered my 2020 and at that time decided the lariat value was indeed the best value. I can't find it right now.

I have built numerous versions on the site, I just wish you could dump the data in a spreadsheet to make it easy to sort and highlight the differences. Trying to see if the differences are worth the $$ to me.

You can also use the Costco site for invoice pricing: https://www.costcoauto.com/new_cars/

We sold our 2017 F-350 XLT Premium and replaced it with a 2019 F-350 Lariat Ultimate in mid-2018. Some trim content details have changed since then.

Here are links to my discussions on some of the major differences:

The Order Guide linked previously is an excellent resource. Note the basic content for each major trim level is described near the front of the Guide, and the content for within-trim-level upgrades (Value, Premium, Ultimate) is described near the back of the Guide.

HTH,
Jim / crewzer

To me the biggest differences for 2022 that you can get in Lariat and can’t get in XLT are:

12” screen
LED headlights
Leather seats
Push to start
Tremor

Plenty of others but the 12” screen was the dealbreaker for me. My 2019 was an XLT and I ordered a 2022 Lariat.

Build the LXT and print the window sticker as a .pdf. Then the same for the Lariat.

MY XLT premium was MSRP at $54,160 when I ordered it. I didn't go with the Lariat because I didn't like the big screen, the leather seats or that little window in the back. I was also on a retired guy budget. Hopefully having the two window stickers in hand will help

I have that T-shirt with 16 builds on my spreadsheet. lol. But let me make this easy, if you want factory leather heated and ventilated seats and not have plastic dashboard, you will be getting Lariat. Mine just got built and awaiting delivery. So tell us what are the 5 most important options you need and you will get some good answers from this group.

Same with my 2022 F-350 DRW 7.3. I sold the 2020 XLT F-350 DRW 7.3 which was a really nice truck and could have kept easy. But the money from the dealer talked me out of it. I did the same - ran another XLT through the Build & Price and then a Lariat. It's still more money but for the features, the Lariat won out. The big deal for me was to match the wife's F-150 8" work screen and the ultimate trailer tow. True, I could care less about a powered rear sliding window so there's a few gee-gaws that are just in the Ultimate package like or not. And leather is kinda uptown for me vs cloth, but after working my azz off for 48 years I'll just have to put up with it. Might be my last new vehicle, so why not squeeze the budget a bit. And I didn't get any "Do you really need aluminum wheels?" questions from the Finance Department - included in the price.

Yes - multiple Build&Price can get a bit of a pain in the azz. If one was industrious, one would extract the options from the Ordering Guide and then attach prices in your nice Lotus 1-2-3 doc. B&P does make it a bit easier since you add this and that takes out that, etc.

To me it is leather and the B&O sound system that are the differences I would consider paying more for. Most of the rest can be had on the XLT. Tremor package is cool if you want a CCSB. If you think the material on the dash of the Lariat is anything but plastic.... padded plastic with stitching but really, just different plastic than the XLT. Does the leather wrapped wheel come with the XLT premium, not a fan of my hard plastic XLT wheel...My XLT vs Lariat builds had about a $8k price delta when building on Fords site.

yup go through the build guides. Its a bit time consuming.

My wife and I did that on our loaded lariat vs. platinum debate since I think it was like a $2500 price delta. In the end we didnt care to pay for the multi-contour seats as we didnt use the functionality much in our Explorer ST. We also werent in love with the platinum interior design choices since we wanted the Baja "leather" in the Lariat.
