Its a pretty cool site. There's a story about an 81 year old man that owns a 58 F100 he bought when he as 34. He was trying to sell it because he can't drive it anymore due to failing eyesight. Eric, the creator of Rust Bucket, got some volunteers to fix up Old Blue to help him sell it easier. One company that donated the not reproduced hood side emblems was our own Chuck Mantigula of Chucks Trucks.
Wow! What a story. Thanks for sharing that.
I'm sure torn on him selling it though. With power steering his daughter could take him on rides.
Although, I could see if he needs the money or he wants to be able to pick the new owner. I wish trucks like that could stay in the family, but that isn't always practical.
I'm not sure how but I saw this episode before, but it was great to see it again. I did see something interesting in the video.
Is this a stock Mirror?
Yeah, I noticed that too. Looks like a stock '80s mirror he customized so he didn't have to drill extra holes in his doors, I don't blame him. From the story about the owner he did all of the work himself over the years. Sounded like he was pretty handy.
Thanks Abe
A heart warming and breaking story.
I think we can relate to how much driving our old trucks mean to us. Nothing puts a smile on my face more than to just cruise the back roads in my "50 -F47. Not looking forward to the day that is no longer possible .
Can anyone tell what kind of panel truck Eric, the narrator and developer of rusty Rembrandts, is driving? It ! looks like a Ford but I'm thinking it's a 57-60 truck. Not sure.

It appears to be a 58-60 Dodge. The headlight cove in the front fender is a give away. However, in his writings he calls is a 62, so unless Dodge didn't change the panel bodystyle along with their pickups in '61, something is amiss. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXxCB2VuCS7/
