I've been beating a pair of these up back and forth between hunt camp and home for about five years now. Still going strong.

they are 8 ft tip to tip.

Good quality ramps are not cheap. I chose these because they worked, I could push a loaded dollies up or pull a hand truck up and not be to concerned with one flexing and causing a tipping issue. I can load a refrigerator (with help) up and down these on a hand truck. I walk up backward on these while pulling the hand truck with a refrigerator on it. I also wanted ones that i could fit in the bed so it would be easy to transport them. I have the short bed so that is part of the limit. I would like these more if they were a foot or two longer but i could not find anything for what i was looking to spend. if you only need them a few times renting is an option. https://www.homedepot.com/p/rental/F...08AR/309006743 They are the same, just a different company name.

Cheap is not my goal.
Nearest Home Depot to me that has them is 60 miles away.

8' tip to tip is not long enough for me. Golf cart or my ZTR will not clear the tailgate. 8' not including the ends might work. As it is now I use 4x12's under the ramp to gain a little extra.

A utility trailer would be a better choice in my opinion for moving a golf cart or mower.

That would be adventurous at best.

Not when you have an 8' bed and may want to move the cart while towing a boat.
