Alright. Blower motor works fine except a chirp that is driving me crazy!!!! It used to go away if I turned the speed up but now it just speeds up the squeak. Since it is working, is it possible to drop it out and add a few drops of oils to lube the bearings or is that more of a mechanical motor solve? The oem replacement is $120 so I hate to have to replace it with it still technically working. My wife says “turn the radio up”, but thats normally the advice I tell her NOT to do. I am just looking to keep my sanity here.
The only long term fix is to replace the blower motor. Once the bushings/bearings start squeaking they're already worn and out of alignment. You can certainly try giving it some lube. Gotta take the motor out to get to both bushings.
I'd recommend that you DO NOT install an aftermarket blower. I purchased a VDO blower for a Kia from Rock Auto and it was noisy. Sent it back and the second one was noisier. Third one sent was quiet, finally.

Ya I learned my lesson on my last truck with that one. VDO didn’t last too long. Replaced with OEM.
Then why are you complaining about the price of the Ford OEM blower? Cheap Charlie and not want to appease the wifey? So much for trying to help.
🤣. Because I am feeling cheap and it’s not the wife’s truck!!! 🤣. Probably will just have to be a order the new blower motor and ship to work kinda deal. 😈. All help Is appreciated, just helps justify it in my mind since the wife tells me I am a little over the top on maintenance. But this comes from the woman when we first started dating and asked if she needed an oil change in her car and she said “what’s that”?
Tell her the squeal is an audible warning telling you that the heater motor is going die as soon as it gets really cold. I bought a four seasons blower motor once for the car, squealed after a few months I went to salvage yard and bought OE used. Been in the car 10 years and still silent.
