2006 f350 beeping

I have a 2006 f350 6.0 and every time I press on the brake it beeps, I'm thinking this is just a low brake fluid warning beep but I'm not 100% and haven't had time to check the fluid.

The beeping should be only from the parking brake (emergency brake)
Make sure it is all the way off and retry it

IT was all the way off and the dash light was off as well, even pulling back the brake to make sure it didn't stick

How loud is the beep?
Have you tracked it down to inside the truck under the dash like it is factory?
Possibly a previous owner installed a backup beeper and wired it to the brakes
Maybe he rode the hell out of the brakes like an old fart and his mechanic installed it?
Find or make time to check the fluid just in case Ford put a beeper on your master cylinder low level indicator without alerting me

No it's not a back up beeper, I have had the truck since it was brand new and this is the first time it's ever done this. I checked the brake fluid and it is half way between the min and maximum amount for inside that container. I made sure my tow haul was off and parking brake, also made sure trailer brakes where off, my trailer brake connector for the hitch it disconnected from the plug in, thought it might be from that due to salt on the roads so cleaned them out to the best of my ability haven't been able to test if that worked on not.

Find the source of the noise and pass that on. Otherwise, all you're going to get is wild guesses.

If it only happens when a trailer is connected, watch the brake controller for an error message.

Other forums are saying the integrated brake controller is usually the problem with the 2005 / 2006 models. Someone suggested setting your gain to zero and that there's a brake controller reset you can try before replacing the controller. Hope you find the problem.
