Question
Based on prior posts and E150 ownership and operation:
--Frame width is different
--steering column is in a different location
You may also find the suspension is different in front, and the axle width and spring width are different.
Not that you couldn't work your way around all that, but it would be expensive.
Along with Quigley, U-Joint Off Road and Agile Off Road are two more.

WhiteFearher can give you helpful advice I hope.
I converted two E250 ford vans to 4wd back in the late '80's and early '90's.
Here are a few notes:
1) Power Steering box remains in place. a good thing.
2) Main crossmember under engine needs trimming to make room for the front axle assemly for a Ford Dana 44.
3) Later Jeep Wagoneer front leaf spring packs and chassis brackets make mounting a breeze to the E250 chassis.
4) Must purchase a Dynatrac sourced cross over steering arm to mount to top of pass side steering knuckle for drag link.
5) Need a flat top pass side steering knuckle (chevy sourced) to accept the bolt-on Dynatrac arm.
6) Brake hoses to calipers must be relocated lower on chassis to allow for axle droop in a twist.
7) For mounting a married transfer case, someone will need to fab up a new supporting crossmember. A piece of cake.
8) Drivelines must be sourced for front and rear. Use your local driveline shop for this.
9) You must fab up a bracket for Transfer case shift linkage to be located in a convenient spot.
Like mentioned earlier in this post, there are many differences between component locations on F150 versus E150.
You might consider a '90's full size Bronco chassis, but I would stick with modifying your E150 chassis to accept 4x4.

Just something kinda sketchy about it all IMHO.
