67-72 frame question

Are the frames for two and four wheel drives the same or totally different

My 67 highboy's frame is 2' wider than my 67 and 68 F-250's

There are different mounts installed, and the front crossmember is welded into a different spot, and the steering box is in a different spot. It does look like the raw frame is the same, at least between the F-100s, but the attachment points are mostly different.
