Nice to hear. We just ordered our 2022 Ranger today. Kind of excited for a shiny new truck, as our past couple of trucks have been used. Also making the leap to Ford, as Dodge/Ram doesn't make a mid-sized truck.
We drove a 2021 Ranger the other day at the dealership and I have to say that it is a very nice, comfortable truck and we are looking forward to it. Now we just have to (mostly) patiently wait for it to be built!
Ford sent me an Email today informing me of the Build week for my Supercab XLT 4x4, week of March 7th, ordered on Nov 27th.
We ordered our Supercab XLT in November as well, got an email a few days ago informing us of a March 7th build week date, then yesterday a new build date week of Feb. 21st.

I haven't received any other emails from ford, so I'm still scheduled for the week of March 7th, that works fine with me.
Just ordered a Ranger today. I also have a F250 ordered (September 30th) with a build day of February 15th, so I’m familiar with the process. I would like to have the Ranger by June, but we’ll see.

Now it has been pushed back to March 21st, per an email today.
Mine was ordered on Sep 15, 2021. After several order screw ups from the dealership, now back on track and the build was approved by Ford. The production schedule is the week of April 4th, hopefully it only takes a week or so to deliver! Very long process for Canadians, Ford doesn't email you directly so you need to get all your updates from the dealership...

Wow, that is a long wait! Who knows when we will get ours, lol

Also, when was the build finally approved? Just trying to do the math on ours.
Back just before Christmas I ask my dealer to change the color, this was before the vin number was assigned. Well they didn't do the change and like a dummy i never followed up on it, so i figured I was stuck with my other 1st choice in color. I noticed the un-change Color when I was assigned the vin number and the 1st schedule date for the build. I got ahold of the Dealer and let them know of my displeasure with their lack of informing me of the no-color change but they came through afterall. The Color was change after I complained as it was their fault and I also told them to delete the auto stop/start, that too was done.
Ford mixed up the order codes for our Ranger with another with the same color and nearly the same options. Discovered the mistake when I was able to print the window sticker,( with wrong VIN,). Anyway, I have yet to receive a response from Ford after emailing them. The sales manager at the dealership thought it was "odd" but did not offer to chase down the mistake. If the other buyer has my order# he will be very surprised when his truck arrives at the dealer well before he expects.
How to read your Window Sticker.
At the top you will see MIC- set of numbers then your Dealers State.
Above the Window Sticker and to the left and above of the Last 5 digit numbers of your VIN you will see BLEND, the last 4 numbers is the Day your Ranger is schedule to be made, the other numbers in BLEND is the Current year.
Further to the right and once again before your VIN number you will see numbers with the / , mine is 208/424, this means my Ranger is the 208 out of 424 on the production position assembly line.
In the Box with your Total MSRP will have a set of numbers, mine states Special Order with other numbers followed by the date that day your Window Sticker was generated.
To the Left of the MSRP Box is the type of Shipment, either RAIL or TRANSPORT(Truck).
Before Covid the assembly line was producing thousands instead of hundreds.
Interesting Video on You Tube of the Rangers being made at the Ford Factory, there are other Vid's as well not just this one.
