I received an email from Ford on the 18th to inform me of another Delay in my scheduled Build for the week of March 21st (24th was the scheduled build day according to the window sticker), I'm guessing it was the spray-in bedliner for the delay.
I contacted my Dealer to check if the issue was the bedliner and to delete it if possible but was told Can't-do because my Ranger is in the Production phase window.
I just checked the website to see if any updates on my build and noticed a date of "3/28(yesterday) in the Production slot", that wasn't there when I checked it on the 28th(last Nite), so hopefully this week my Ranger gets built.
My nice F350 is ready to be listed For Sale but I can't do anything till I know for a fact that my Ranger is Built.

Sounds like you’re getting close. I’m hoping to get scheduled for June.
OK, my Ranger is built, should be at the dealer sometime between 4/14 to 4/20, we'll see.
So, you’re right at 4 months right? That gives me hope. It’s only been 2 months since I ordered. I just got my F250 a couple of weeks ago, which took 5 months. Do you have any of the common commodity restraint items on your build, such as spray in liner?

Mid April will be at 4 1/2 months.
Yes on the spray-in bedliner.
Ours was built this past Friday, so it won't be long now. We ordered it early November.
Took delivery Yesterday, Already have260 miles on it. This replaces our 2021 Which was totaled in an accident, so we are pretty familiar with it. Love it so far.
I got the sorry, we haven’t forgot about you email tonight.
We have all gotten that email and sometimes more than once. I got my second one 4 days before the scheduled week of the build but was built the following week.
Can't access the tracking information on mine, but my window sticker says I am 143/209 in the production line and the scheduled production date was April 6th. Mine says method of delivery is "CONVOY", not sure what that means. They expedited the build by removing the auto start/stop feature as they screwed up the first order and I told them I didn't want to wait another 4 weeks for Ford to approve a new build. Anyways, hoping to get it in a week or two hopefully. It's been quite a journey let me tell ya! Mostly, the dealership's incompetence was to blame for most of the hassle. I should have had it by now if it weren't for the order screw ups.
I was wondering, are "break-in" periods still a thing? How should I baby this thing and for how long? And in terms of tire thread, when should I rotate them?

Convoy means transport truck/car hauler.
What’s the deal with the Auto Start/Stop having to be removed?
I know on the bigger trucks, it’s not recommend you tow until a 1000 miles is reached. Beyond that, I’m not sure.
I have my tires rotated during each oil change. It just makes it easier to remember.
Well the removed the auto/start stop without asking me to expedite the build date (more parts shortage on the auto start/stop technology). I'm fine with it because I hate that thing anyways, but kind of a dick move not to ask the customer first...I'm hoping to negotiate some nice perks upon delivery for all this hassle...
To be on the safe side I wouldn't tow anything at the max range for that 1st 1000 miles, after that you are fine to go.
The 2.3l eco is recommended 3K oil changes if you use semi-synthetic oil, I always rotated my F350 tires every 5K miles as those oil changes were at 5K unless I was towing more often then it was 3K but for the Ranger I'll just go every other oil change, every 6K miles will be fine for me.
Also, this may be old school but I have always change my engine oil at the 1000 mile mark, then after that go to your regular scheduled oil changes. I also never use the cruise control in that 1st 1000 miles, No steady speeds, punch the throttle now and then, just don't overdue it and don't baby it.
With the other Ford F-series they are giving an $50 credit for the auto/start delete but I'm not seeing it on the Rangers as a credit.
No real issues with my dealer, I'm guessing the mix-up on not changing my exterior color was because it was so close to Christmas my request got overlooked. But it was changed later, was told since my Ranger wasn't yet scheduled for production they were able to make the color change.
You must live closer to the Michigan Plant if your Ranger is going by Truck Convoy.
I wasn't notified from Ford of the shipping till after it was shipped by a good 5 days later. After I was notified of the exact build date I continued to check on the status for updated shipping info, that is how I knew when it was put on the Rail, maybe yours will ship out quicker since it is going by truck convoy..
